Computer Mouse

A mouse is a peripheral device either plugged into the computers motherboard and wirelessly connected by bluetooth or wireless signal that allows you to control a computer. Servers, desktops, laptops and hybrid tablets can all use mice.

A computer mouse will sometimes have a track-ball for controlling movement of the cursor on the computer screen however more commonly the entire mouse will be moved in order to move the cursor on the screen. Most computer operating systems require a mouse to operate however some that only use a command line do not. DOS and Linux based systems do not require a mouse however Linux operating systems with a GUI (Graphical) operating system do require a mouse to operate.
