PHP is currently the most utilized dynamic coding language on the internet. Because of it's great diversity of built in functions, light-weight and ability to handle large amounts of traffic, it has become the language of choice for most web developers.

PHP allows web developers to code HTML and PHP dynamicly in the same file and without requiring large amounts of memory. Becuase of this, it can handle larger amounts of traffic while consuming less server resources.

PHP is commonly used with HTML, CSS, Javascript, MySQL, and AJAX.

PHP is most commonly deployed on Linux servers running Apache however may also be deployed on Windows and OSX servers.
