Graphics Card (GPU)

The main function of a Graphics Card is to handle processing the output of the visuals that a computer may output. This may be as simple is regular text or high-end graphics. In most cases, adding a graphics card will improve system performance as removing the function from the mother-boards list of duties reduces load on the computer as a whole. Some high end graphics cards may be required for certain games or to add more than one monitor to a computer.
