Biaxin

Biaxin is a marcolide antibiotic that helps in fighting bacteria and treating different types of bacterial infection that affects the respiratory system and skin. This medication is also used in the treatment of stomach ulcers. Biaxin is available in tablets, and oral suspensions. Clarithromycin is a white to off-white crystalline powder. It is soluble in acetone, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, and acetonitrile, and practically insoluble in water.

Side Effects of Biaxin:

You need to take emergency medical assistance, if you get any allergic reaction to this medication. Some of the possible allergic reactions of Biaxin are throat infection, tongue, lips and facial swelling. Here below are some of the side effects:

• Headache with chest pain and severe dizziness, fast or pounding heartbeats, shortness of breath, fainting.

• Fever, swollen glands, body aches, flu symptoms, new or worsening cough

• Rashes of skin, easy bruising or bleeding, severe tingling, numbness, pain in muscle.
