Caduet

Amlodipine and atorvastatin are the main components of caduet. The composition of Caduet are calcium carbonate, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, polysorbate 80, hydroxypropyl cellulose, purified water, colloidal silicon dioxide (anhydrous), magnesium stearate, Opadry® II White 85F28751 (polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, PEG 3000, and talc) or Opadry® II Blue 85F10919 (polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, PEG 3000, talc, and FD&C blue.

Side Effects:

Meet your doctor immediately, if you find any of the below side effects:

  • Cough
  • difficulty with swallowing
  • dizziness
  • fast heartbeat
  • hives
  • itching
  • swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue
  • skin rash
  • tightness in the chest
  • weakness
  • wheezing

Stop using Caduet, if you find any of these conditions: Muscular pain, tiredness, weakness, fever, swelling, and weight gain, urinating less than usual, or fluttering in your chest. Before taking any medications always take doctors recommendation on any allergic reaction.
