The generic Clonidine has different brands like Catapres, Kapvay, and Kapvay dose pack. Clonidine helps to low down blood pressure level by decreasing blood chemical level. Thus the blood vessels get relaxed and the beat of heart goes slower and eases. This medication is helped in treating high blood pressure and helps in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In drug store you can get this tablet as 0.1 mg, 0.2 mg and 0.3 mg. The inactive ingredients in Clonidine are silicon dioxide, corn starch, dibasic calcium phosphate, FD&C Yellow No. 6, gelatin, glycerin, lactose, and magnesium stearate.
