Benicar HCT

The generic name of Benicar HCT is olmesartan/hydrochlorothiazide. Beniar HCT is used for the treatment of high blood pressure. There are other types of conditions for which this medication can be used. BEnicar HCT is a blend of angiotensin II receptor blocker and diurectic. In blood vessel relaxation, the angiotensin II receptor blocker works. At the same time diurectic helps to decrease the blood pressure level and also helps in fluid and sodium elimination from the kidneys.

Stop taking Benicar HCT, if:

• People who get allergic reaction to Benicar HCT should stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor. Women who are pregnant should evade taking this medication.

• After taking this medication, if you find that you get urination problem, you need to stop taking it immediately.

Emergency medical help is required if you find any allergic reaction like difficult to breath, kidney failure, weakness, muscular pain and etc.
